The WUSV World Championship is subject to International Utility Dogs Regulations of the FCI (IGP).
GENERAL RULES
- The current version of the IGP Regulations applies to WUSV WC 2023.
- Participating dogs must have completed IGP 3 – led by the nominating dog handler – since the last WUSV World Championship. It needs to be verified with the scorebook. This examination must pass at least with 250 points, whereby at least 80 points must achieve in each of the three phases.
- Each dog handler is allowed to show only one dog.
- All dogs must have a pedigree approved by WUSV.
- The health certificate (up to 3 months) issued by the veterinarian must be sent with the registration. All participants must submit a comprehensive certificate, which must include all details of the dog’s mental and physical condition, and issued in English or German by a veterinarian authorized by the nominating organization.
- HD/ED rating: normal; near normal; still accepted (FCI: A; B; C or 0; 1). For dogs born on or after 1 January 2018, only HD/ED ratings recognised by the WUSV/SV are accepted
- For dogs born after 01 January 2020, a show result of at least 12 months of age with at least a “good” rating
- Lability insurance applies to any damage caused by the dog (home or home insurance is also appropriate).
- Rabies vaccination not older than 1 year (according to Hungarian legislation), at least 21 days must have elapsed from the date of administration.
- Each National Organization (LAO) may nominate a team of maximum 5 people and 1 substitute.
The winner of the previous year may also participate. - In some cases, WUSV management may issue additional registration permit.
- Registration fee 140 euro/dog
